John Carr Electricals continued success is based on honesty, reliability, trust and first class workmanship.

All our staff are highly trained and experienced and hold City & Guilds Certificates 2360 pt.1 & 2360 pt.2 in Electrical Installation and Certificate 2391 in Inspection, Testing, Certification and Design of Electrical Installations.

We are cerified as 'Competent Persons' in relation to Part P of the Wiring Regulations.

Company History

John Carr Electrical was founded in 1953 by John Carr “pictured left” and became limited in 1955. Here are the original works team.

David Carr “who was no relation” took over from John in the eighties until his death in 2005 leaving the business to Phillip Bingham . Phillip is now running the business in partnership with Jeffrey Barrett.

Below you can see the original vans, pictures taken in 1957 out side John Carr electrical shop 329 Abbeydale Road where it still stands today pretty much unchanged. The young man in the picture is David Carr.
